100% awesome? Not quite. I'd give it more around a 90%. The game is very good, and has an excellent, and I stress excellent, campaign. The multiplayer is great fun with some difficult challenges to pull off, and great weapon selection.

However, there are things that bug me. Like the lack of fragmentation. Folks survive explosions way too easily, and while this makes the experience more fun in a way, it still bugs me that someone who's body should have been torn to pieces just ran up and stabbed me in the neck instead.

Also... not the best blood and violence. Even Dragon Age, an RPG, has Modern Warfare 2 beaten for blood and violence (what with the decapitions, hangings and blood splattering your character in a fight). Hell, even World at War had better blood and violence (legs and such could be blown off). Plenty of games have more realistic blood and violence then Modern Warfare 2, however, the game pulled off the action quite well. Which is what they intended.
